The Before 1066 Toolbox website offers the visitor access to a vast range of Teaching & Learning resources (most of which are free) to research the Stone, Bronze and Iron ages, or to plan an enquiry based history project. Topics covered include early settlements, hunters and gatherers, transport through the ages, stone monuments and religion, the coming of the Romans, and Saxon and Viking invaders and many, many more subjects to help young learners interpret the past accurately.
